Getting Support
Here to support local families
Every family can face difficult times, whether caused by financial hardship, unexpected emergencies, or changes in family circumstances.
At Baby Basics MK, we’re here to help by providing practical essentials for babies and young children when they’re needed most.

How we support
We offer two main types of support for families across Milton Keynes facing financial hardship, crisis, or difficult circumstances.
Essential Items Service
We provide essential items for babies and children from newborn to 6 years old, helping families who are struggling to afford everyday necessities.
Support may include clothing, toiletries, bedding, equipment, toys, and other practical essentials, depending on current donated stock availability.
Families can access this support through a professional referral from services such as:
-
Family Centres
-
Health Visitors
-
Midwives
-
Schools and Nurseries
-
Social Workers
-
Local Churches
Our aim is to help families feel supported, cared for, and less alone during difficult times. See how our referral process works.
